Introducing Our Director of Association Management, Joshua Considine

We are thrilled to welcome Joshua Considine to Charlesgate Property Management as Director of Association Management.  Josh comes to us with over 15 years of experience in the property management industry, beginning with construction where he learned to love property and has maintained a passion for understanding “how things work.”

Josh has spent over a decade as a property manager. In his most recent role, Josh oversaw the property management functions and multiple service streams for another well regarded Boston-based firm. What he enjoyed most in this capacity is coaching and managing teams, and developing the systems and procedures to drive the organization’s goals and client service. Under his leadership, the firm grew into a leader in high-end, client focused management. As the industry has shifted over time, and Josh has enjoyed the challenge of re-focusing his functions to meet the desires and expectations of his clients.

Josh’s philosophy of management is to bring empathy to work every day and instill a culture of ownership. In this business, dealing with people’s homes, which for many is the largest and most personal investment; Josh believes empathy is critical for providing the best service to clients, and makes for a positive and motivating work environment. Further, Josh sees his role as a leader is to empower his teams to take ownership, making decisions and executing in the organization’s and client’s best interests. Josh brings a passion for coaching – sharing knowledge, learning from others and helping his teams strategize for end-goal oriented solutions.

Josh lives in Cambridge, where he has spent his spare time renovating his home and becoming an aspiring woodworker. 

We sat down with Josh to ask him a couple of questions.

What brought you to Charlesgate?

I came to Charlesgate for the opportunity to work with an amazing team of talented, dedicated and fun people.

What do you like to do outside of work?  

Outside of work I enjoy any kind of adventure: skiing, rock climbing, mounting biking, kayaking and SCUBA diving.

What are you most excited about in starting your career at Charlesgate?

I am excited to work with our team; continuing to develop strategies to serve our clients at the highest level and to ultimately help grow our already great business.
